my girlfriend doesnt do anything special?
we’ve been together for a while now, and im always doing something special to show my love, i.e i had her come over and i made bbreakfast. i’ve bought her a few pieces of really nice jewelry(her birthstone is diamond) and i buy her flowers often along with other things, but i realized today that she has never done anything special. ih she did buy me something small for valentines day, but it was after the fact and i think the diamond watch i bought her was the reason. so my question is does she really love me, i mean she says it and all and i know she is faithful but…
like i dont expect her to buy me things, it just seems weird that she never does anything, like she knows i like to eat and she knows how to cook but has never cooked for me
Have you brought this up to her? Maybe she was raised that women weren’t expected to get guys stuff. Maybe she has other ways she thinks she is showing you that she loves you, but you’re not quite getting it. If you talk to her, either (a) it will improve, because she really does love you, or (b) it won’t and you’ll know she is not the right one for you.
